Head Coach, Hershey HS Coach Painter's football coaching career spans over 30 years. He currently holds the head coach position at Hershey HS. Prior football coaching experiences are OL coach, DL and LBer coach, Offensive and Defensive Coordinator, Freshman Coach and Video Coordinator.

Mark has served as the head coach at Hershey HS for 10 years where his teams have qualified for the PIAA District 3 5A playoffs 6 times. He also was the head coach and OL/DE coach at Lower Dauphin HS, OL coach at Lebanon Valley College and OL coach at Palmyra HS.
Mark's career in education has spanned 32 years as a teacher, instructional technology specialist and dean of students. He and Barrie Lynn reside in Hershey. Their three sons graduated from Hershey HS then continued their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Dylan played basketball for and graduated from Delaware with an MBA and Health Behavioral Science degree. He is currently playing basketball overseas. Drew played TE for and graduated with a Masters in Kinesiology from James Madison University. He is currently working with the Baylor Football Strength and conditioning staff. Daniel is currently playing football and studying Pre-Med Biology at Ursinus College.
